About us

Corner Flag Property Solutions (CFPS) was created by Simon Cook, a Registered Nurse in Learning Disabilities, who has worked in the care sector for over 15 years, primarily in the private sector.

Simon has worked with many clients in hospitals and institutions, and soon realised that a lack of appropriate housing in the community was delaying discharge for a number of these people.

Simon started CFPS in order to try and increase the amount of specialist housing available in the community.

CFPS are guided by a moral compass. The most important aspect of the business is to support someone to navigate the complex world of specialist properties, and support the person to move into their perfect home.

There are no limits to the amount of adaptations which can be made to the properties. The adaptations will be established through an assessment between the person requiring the property, and CFPS.

To date, CFPS have carried out a number of high quality adaptions to their properties, they include;

  • Hoists throughout the property
  • Conversion of bathroom to wet room
  • Widening of doorways to accommodate wheelchairs
  • Ramps on the front and back doors
  • Specialised kitchens which allow people in wheelchairs to use them (moveable table tops)
  • Specialist lighting
  • Fixtures and fittings flush to the wall
  • Reinforced walls
  • Sound proofing

Simon Cook is the Managing Director of Corner Flag Property Solutions and is a qualified Nurse in Learning Disabilities who has over 15 years experience working in the Care Sector. Simon is passionate about supporting people to live in a home which meets their specific needs and requirements and making the process of finding the perfect home as easy as possible.
